Here is how to measure the paws for the correct shoe size:
- Place a piece of paper on the floor
- Place one foot-paw on the paper
- With a pencil, make a line on each side of the paw where it is the widest
- Do the same with one of the hind paws
- Remove the paper and measure between the lines

Great shoes for a dog with arthrosis

My german shepherd is 9 years old and suffers from arthrosis. This affects his walking ability in a negative way. However with these great shoes my dog get´s an improved support for his paws and at the same time good protection. One effect of arthrosis is that my dog sometimes is dragging his paws (especially back paws), rendering in wounds on the paws. With Eqdog shoes this is not a problem any more. My dog walks more sturdy, gets good protection and support and above all, clearly seems to be more happy. I highly recommend these shoes for all dog types, with or without health issues for the simple reason if you walk on rough terrain this will surely protect your best friends paws. My dog, Sami has shoes for all four paws and it really easies his walks an asphalt, pavement and forest terrain. I have tried numerous protective alternatives, however Eqdog stands out as excellent. So me and my dog Sami can still have an active outdoor life and enjoy walks in different environments.

Our dog wore these shoes on a 2-days hiking. They never fell off ONCE! The fact that you get microfiber socks included means that EQDOG has been thinking of that the friction goes from sock to shoes and not paws to shoes directly, which wont hurt the paws. Really sturdy shoes and our dog got used to them after just a few minutes (of funny walking of course).
